I’m not the only one.

Smart has been blatantly screwing their prepaid subscribers this week on their Unlimited Text & Call scheme. A subscriber loads Unlimited P40 (or P20 by sending to 258) expecting to get 2 days worth of unlimited texting plus two 3-minute calls to another Smart subs.

But guess what happens? Everytime you try dialing a number using *258, the call does NOT connect. Then you will receive an SMS from 258 saying that you will be charged P1.00 for the invalid call transaction. They also randomly deduct airtime load with no audit trails on their system!

If you’ve been inconvenienced by similar circumstances, let them know how pissed you are! Call *888 (then key in "110"), their Customer Service Line and bug them to hell about getting those prepaid credits back! Burn the wires, let their queue and service levels drop! The least they can do is compensate all their prepaid subs with a reversal of invalid charges.

Ask for a service ticket/reference # so that you can follow up your concern. We have to let Smart know that they can’t treat their subscribers this way.
